Death Posture

from Through the Desert by Kerala

/

lyrics

Close my eyes, ego dies
Hold my breath, activate death

The instinct, it beckons, but to my will it's second
My mind is now frantic as my eyes search the blackness

Close my eyes, ego dies
Hold my breath, activate death

Gnosis to inhibit my conscious mind
Trance is induced to make my Self blind
Blood pounding through my head
Mustn't give in to the will to live

Death of all thought is the intent
Temporarily dissolve my self awareness
To pass the censor, implant a thought:
A sigil of a word that I don't comprehend

Close my eyes, ego dies
Hold my breath, activate death

To enter the temple,
The altar of mind
Get past the guardian,
Straight into the core
With glyph in hand, I
Make way to the shrine
Placing the symbol
In the base of my mind

Mustn't give in to the while to live
